Backup cycle

The server does a daily backup around 2:00 CEST with the help of LVM-Snapshots.

The retention time of the backups:

  • 5 days
  • 3 Months
  • 10 Years

Replication

The backups are held on my private infrastructure with daily offsite replication and weekly integrity checks.

Accessing the backup

The backup of the server can be accessed under https://backup.pandorabox.io

This is a backup-extract and contains only the buildings, mods and functional parts, but no private mails or IP-Information of the players.

NOTE: this is still a work-in-progress and is not yet automated
